Whenever I see your smiling face...

We’ve got a long stretch of not-on-the-same-page between fiery Venus in Aries and earthy Mars in Virgo. The whole forecast for today is one big Date Night! Mars prefers to stick with the tried and true, but Venus doesn’t even know what that is. She’s not so much fickle as she is in need of something new...
He says: “How about dinner and a movie?”
She says: “Let’s hop the red-eye to Hawaii and see the Kilauea Volcano!”
The saving grace is the harmonious Libra Moon gliding in at 11:53 AM, PST. It’s a time of charm, grace and the strong desire to have your relationships running smoothly. Libra puts on some music. Even a mismatched pair gets in-sync with James Taylor’s “Whenever I see your smiling face, I have to smile myself, because I love you.” Hey, Presidents can be re-elected to tunes like this!
The Force of music is with you.

Fun Friday, February 10, 2012

Aries (March 20-April 19)
You may feel like a jumping bean who’s a little disoriented by all the changes. When the Moon glides into Libra at 11:53 AM, PST, she will not know quite what to do with the opposing electric energy in your sign. Libra is your opposite polarity, and therefore the energy you want to incorporate, even though it doesn’t come easily to you. And vice versa, Libra is trying to incorporate your spontaneous enthusiasm. Therefore you’re drawn to each other. And there’s a sweet pleasantness coming to you from this Moon, prompting a relaxing indulgence like sitting in the jacuzzi. Just don’t take that box of chocolates with you!

Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Your feelings are playing Leap Frog. It’s unsettling because you don’t know where they’ll land. Hard to plan your day, or your reactions to other people. This may be as close to impulsive as Taurus lets herself be! Can you blame it on the Moon? Probably. Around 3:37 PM, PST, the charming Libra Moon gets some direct lightening hits which make her ill at ease. This particularly affects your work relationships where jumping to conclusions seems to be the norm! All this air and fire feels like a dust storm in your life. Perfect time to take a long lunch and a stroll around the lake.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Ah, a few easier days ahead for you. Around 11:53 AM, PST, the Moon waltzes into Libra, with fresh breezes of harmony for your relationships. You’ll find just the right thing to say to smooth troubled waters, even the ones inside your own head. Then, about 3 hours later, the place starts hopping. Your mind will be charged with unusual, even eccentric, ideas that seem to pop in and out. Grab your favorite book and head to a quiet corner of the library. At 5:25 PM, PST, the pot gets sweetened by Venus, but she’s also hopping and popping and generally ready to overdo it--indulgence-wise. If you can avoid impulse-buy, you’ll get to enjoy a strong emotional connection with someone you love.

Cancer (June 21-July 21)
The astrological weather takes another big shift for you today at 11:53 AM, PST, when the Moon glides into the relationship territory of charming Libra. You should invite someone new over for tea (or root beer). The stage is set for you to attract someone quite different from your usual friends. There may be an awkwardness in this new territory, but you’re up for some sizzle in your life. Don’t be lulled into laziness by the appearance on the scene of indulgent Venus around 5:25 PM, PST. She’ll add some intensity of feeling (yes, you already have plenty!) that can open up your relationship.

Leo (July 22-August 22)
You’re heading toward a peaceful easy feeling when the Libra Moon lifts your spirits with fresh air at 11:53 AM, PST. Your regal demeanor has the added elegance of charm and a graciousness that warms hearts. This Moon is naturally gifted in public relations, so if there’s a diplomatic word needed in any of your relationships, now is the time. Later, you attract an edgy excitement in the form of something new and unusual. In your close surroundings, you need change. You’re not willing to accept the same ol’ same ol’. Have you considered posting your playlist?

Virgo (August 23-September 22)
The Moon leaves your sign and moves into relationship-oriented Libra at 11:53 AM, PST. You’ll be very resourceful today, using your charm and kindness to help others. Just remember that your well-being does not depend on the approval of others--this trait is accentuated by the Libra Moon. Around 5:39 PM, PST, Venus shows up with some extravagant suggestions, so overindulgence is possible. What you really want is a strong emotional contact with someone close to you. Shake them up with an exciting surprise. It will release tensions for both of you.

Libra (September 23-October 22)
You have a lovely day ahead of you as the Moon sails into Libra at 11:53 AM, PST. You are gracious and kind to everyone, and this harmony radiates from you. You have a strong sensitivity to the reactions and attitudes of others. In fact, the only downside to a Libra Moon is that she is too easily influenced. Venus loves Libra, her natural home, so even though she’s in the opposite sign, she channels a desire to be emotionally close to someone. Around 3:37 PM, PST, this gets electric. Reserve judgement until this intensity wears off, but you’ll attract something or someone who’s unusual and exciting. Even if it feels disruptive, it’s fulfilling a need in your life.

Scorpio (October 23-November 21)
Fire and water aren’t usually a good combination for relationships, but if you play your cards right, it can generate some steam. How? Take the impulsive fire of Venus in Aries in small doses, avoiding impatience. Then, your watery tendency to hold every thing in won’t discourage her creativity. Then, she can lighten up your deeply intense feelings with her spontaneity. Ok, maybe the Rubik's Cube is easier, but the rewards of Venus are much greater! You’ll feel like indulging her around 5:25 PM, PST.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 20)
It just gets better when the Moon slips into graceful Libra today. Your relationships get the spotlight and your feelings deepen for those you love. You have an elegance in your personal appearance and your style. You might be inspired to make your home a gathering place for friends. Around 3:37 PM, PST, excitement is added to the mix and you attract something or someone unusual. You may also be tempted to leap to conclusions, and as a Sagittarius you’re already too skilled at that, so reserve big decisions for another day.

Capricorn (December 21-January 19)
First you can celebrate that you continue to be positively energized by Mighty Mars’ slow journey through Virgo, and Jovial Jupiter’s even longer stay in Taurus brings you great good fortune. Although you love all that stability, your life would be dull without the tension that motivates growth. Hence, the stars added a passionate creative fire from Venus, and now (11:53 AM, PST) a big focus on relationships from the Libra Moon. It hits your career verses home life polarity, but it has the encouragement to take a risk that you need. Try not to smoother this fire and air creativity with you earthy sure-footedness. That would be hiding your light under a bushel.

Aquarius (January 20-February 17)
Leaping to conclusions will be really easy to do today. And the leap is propelled by emotions, probably impulsive, so you land in unforeseen territory. But whether leaping or actively seeking, you’ll enjoy the unusual pace and excitement. The Libra Moon arrives at 11:53 AM, PST, making your relationships very harmonious. Your interactions have a grace and charm that ensures positive connections with others. If you’ve needed a public relations mojo, this is it.

Pisces (February 18-March 19)
Lots of fire and air in the stars today, which ordinarily wouldn’t be compatible with your watery depths. However, your beautiful compassion fits Venus’ style of loving. She may be just a bit too “out there” with her impulses to suit your shyness. The Libra Moon sails in around 11:53 AM, PST, and adds her grace and charm to your considerable romantic skills. And she has her own brand of shyness, making you feel at home. But a later show down with the god of lightening has you, and everyone else, jumping to conclusions. Stay grounded and it will simply be an exciting time.
