Enlightening realizations about earth and fire

Are you exhausted by what seem to be impossible choices? Like, end wars and lose your freedom? Or, tell the truth and lose the election? Flames of revolutionary transformation flare up again December 14th, the 6th pinnacle of the 7 intense points of friction between fiery Uranus (rebellion and freedom) and earthy Pluto (death and transformation). We’re now in the home stretch toward the apocalyptic Seventh Sign, coming March 16, 2015.

Will we heal the split in our minds, the duality of us versus them? Are we willing at last to choose love instead of fear?

Pile up enough dirt and you can extinguish any fire. In other words, the psychological weight of your old beliefs create inertia, potentially preventing you from acting on the restless sense of urgency you feel to break the chains that bind you. Inertia, willful refusal to change, produces anxiety, anger and impulsive diversions like the famous stopgap solution of “let them eat cake.”

Today both Pluto in earthy Capricorn and Uranus in fiery Aries will be at exact 90 degree angles in incompatible signs that generate internal tension (this square last occurred 1927-1935). The torch of Aries fire is archetypally carried by Warrior Mars, the aggressive freedom fighter who exists in all of us. Powerful Pluto, the mythological lord of the underworld, is in an earth sign, digging up graves of resentments, repressed memories and unexamined beliefs. These two foes have been insisting that we must make difficult reforms before we can claim our freedom.

Think of the electromagnetic energy from these two planets as oscillating waves carrying messages, and although they are have different frequencies, they want to get in sync. With both Uranus and Pluto at 15 degrees 18 seconds of their respective signs, their influence is amplified. The seeds of revelation were planted when Uranus and Pluto traveled side by side from 1962 to 1968. On August 28th, 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. lit the fire of the Civil Rights Movement by proclaiming, “I have a dream...”

How much time do you spend analyzing or regurgitating the past, the one thing you know you cannot change? Oh, you might say you’re justified because the past holds valuable lessons. Really? That might be true, if you could trust what you saw. Aren’t you relying on your subjective perceptions of what actually happened? Wouldn’t illusions be a better word?

Watch what you think, because that’s what you’ll see. Your desire forms the lens of your perception. Healing is simply the shift in your perception from fear to love.

It will look like dumb luck, but you know it’s taken years to create. Still, you might want to buy a lottery ticket just to let the universe know you’re open to receiving a windfall. Friday you have an ingenious idea that seems to come from the ethers--it will be an “aha!” experience. Notice it. Also on Thursday, the big red warrior planet Mars is moving into the intellectually unorthodox arena of Aquarius. This lands in your 7th solar house of  partnerships where you’ll take some decisive action to free yourself, so that your can do things your own way. You need to devise and original method of doing things, and now is the time.

Stay away from the inner space of deductive reasoning and raise your thoughts to outer space--understanding what hasn’t been discovered yet. Your 4th solar house of home is still so loaded that you’re wishing for a break, and you should grab what you can under the Taurus Moonbeams on Wednesday and possibly Thursday. The Gemini Full Moon brings a culmination in your 10th solar house of career this Saturday. However, it is in opposition to the Sagittarius Sun who is lighting up your home and family issues, so you are caught in an internal debate about how to balance your needs in both areas. You are usually dutiful and very responsible in both, however the old ways won’t work. Something out of the box, really off the beaten path, will be your solution. You’ve had a six week period in which your ability to take effective action has been excellent, fueled by efficiency. Your itchy curiosity is stimulated by the Gemini Full Moon this Saturday, which will lead you to an unusual line of thought. This calls for finishing your book, publishing your work, teaching a class or giving a speech. Your communications are so heated, in a good way, with totally different ways of expressing yourself that others may have difficulty keeping up. Ideas are flying at the speed of light--breakthroughs occurring spontaneously--especially after Warrior Mars moves into Aquarius on the 4th. If you try to sell yourself on an old way of doing things, it will feel so disagreeable so fast that you won’t tolerate it for very long. Let yourself feel the shear joy and seduction of having an amazing adventure. The sometimes fine line between criminal or legitimate action is a core curiosity of Scorpio.
