Rebellious Uranus loosens the chains that bind us to time

After his arrest for leading a peaceful protest march, 34 year old Martin Luther King Jr. spoke from the Birmingham jail on April 12th, 1963. These words would grow into a monumental voice for freedom, a 100 year old echo of the 1863 Emancipation Proclamation:

“We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.”

August 28th, 1963, King gave his famous “I Have a Dream” speech. Three months later, November 22, 1963, John F. Kennedy was assassinated at age 46. At age 39, Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated on April 4, 1968, 2 months before Robert Kennedy was assassinated.

During the rebellious ‘60’s we tried to change the outer world, to demand that we be set free from restrictions of cultural prejudices and unjust laws. Now we are revisiting the same urges for freedom, only this time we know we are our own jailers.

And you probably thought you were busy last week! TAURUS ☀  (April 20-May 20)

Even if there have been moments of uncertainty, the brightening of the light by Mars and Jupiter on Monday restores hope. Hang on, your mental processes are going to calm down beginning this Thursday, March 12th, when Messenger Mercury falls out of the impractical ivory tower of Aquarius and dives into the intuitive waters of Pisces. For the next 18 days you can connect the dots between your head and your heart, which have been a bit out of sync. Between now and March 30th, your thoughts are inspired by your spiritual beliefs. CAPRICORN   ☀  (December 22-January 19)

What is being reborn in you? You’re now experiencing the itchy feet that you’re going to have throughout the first half of 2015. You have more questions than answers, which is just right for now. You want to move on, but the horizon seems to have too many choices. Relax and play a little, welcome that tender child within you who longs to go Home. Remember, you’ve entered a cocooning phase. Don’t take life too seriously. Saturn in Sagittarius, for the next 2 years, is working the undercurrents of your consciousness, and your “bedevilments” will rise to the surface like bubbles that will break of their own accord. Ancient barriers that may have prevented you from achieving what you wanted are dissolving. Cut your losses and do not label anything a “failure.” Did you notice what happened around December 23rd, 2014? You got “hints” about the 7th and final revelation coming for you around March 16th. The big Santa Claus in the zodiac, Generous Jupiter, is still in your 8th house of death and rebirth which traditionally means inheritance. Look for a fortunate change around this Tuesday, March 3rd. The Virgo Full Moon on Thursday seals the deal. Like Beatrice, you have rounded the mountain and seen the face of God, and you call back to Dante who’s looking down into the Pool of Shame, and you say to that part of yourself, “Look up. Dante, look up!”

Your year opened with vigorous physical activity and and taking right action for your good health, courtesy of warrior Mars. As you approach the 7th and final pinnacle on March 16th, the power to create your own reality will become clear to you. You’ll see many things that have appeared to be agonizing choices, are in fact not choices at all--only one leads to a Happy Dream. This is the year to realize you have nothing to fear, because you have remembered who you are in truth. You are the Spirit of love itself, temporarily housed in a body. Although the body seems to “prove” that you are separate and alone, you are able to see beyond such nonsense and call on the strength of your magnificence. For the next 2 years, while Saturn is in Sagittarius, your intellectual discipline can bring you career success, honor and distinction. This is a time you harvest the wisdom of your experiences in the marketplace. Generous Jupiter is in your 6th house of health and healing (July 16, 2014 to August 11, 2015), where this Tuesday, March 3rd, he’s pouring out a cornucopia of surprising opportunities to be of service and to expand your field of work. Don’t let the bigness frighten you. You are often reluctant to lead, but now is the time to take on such responsibilities, without neglecting your personal needs.
