De-hibernating?

The Gemini Moon has just left the pick-up line at Starbucks when she gets a fabulous idea! So she balances her coffee in an elbow bend, grabs her cell with the other hand, and records a note-to-self message--before she forgets. Half-way through, she sees a friend walk in. She yells “hello.” Then she has to stop and erase that from the note-to-self, which she does while crossing the room to hug her friend. No, she doesn’t even spill a drop!

P.S. The Moon stayed up all night, anxiously awaiting the Sun, to tell him two dozen bits of very chatty news, including how mid-winter Groundhog Day means the end of hibernation. But she had to set too early (2:58 a.m.) and he’s too late rising (7:13 a.m.) so she had to IM him while brushing her teeth.
The Force of resourcefulness is with you.

Thursday, February 2, 2012, is Neptune’s last day in Aquarius and the perfect time to consolidate what we’ve gained during his 14-year stay. New sciences and technology, highly developed intuition, and global humanitarianism have been the domain of this visionary god of the sea. Think what you’ve learned in these areas since November 28, 1998...

Aries (March 20-April 19)
Neptune’s 14-year stay in Aquarius was in your 11th solar house of friends and community. For you this marked the dawning of an enlightened humanitarianism. You gained compassion and deep spiritual understanding of the needs of humanity, of your community. You probably had close friends who joined you in discovery, or supported your efforts in some way. Use the easy yet quick-witted vibes of today’s Gemini Moon to think about your contributions, the ways you’ve reached out to help us all.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Your solar 10th house of ambitions, prestige, and social power was the home for Neptune’s watery, and sometimes foggy, sojourn. What did you learn about the myths of individual success and public power? Neptune dissolves borders and makes subterranean connections that can’t always be explained by the rational mind. Outwardly you saw this in the Wall Street myths. Today’s Gemini Moon has an easy access to feelings, so you can take a minute to explore this. You have a lovely balance between you will power, your need to be active and seen in the world, and your emotional needs.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)
The Moon in your sign is making two lovely harmonics, to the Sun and to your ruling planet, Mercury. You can use your rational mind to look at your emotional reactions, and you’ll have a easy time expressing the results. An excellent day to get your point across to anyone about anything! Neptune is finishing his 14-year stay in your solar 9th house of the higher mind. Your intuitive understanding, and your philosophy of life will have taken a deeper, more compassionate turn. In what way? This likely came through adventures to embarked on and expansions in your education.

Cancer (June 21-July 21)
You may be subjected to more dialog than you’d like to hear! It may seem that people are talking at you. But pull up those hidden feelings, and trust that your logical mind is functioning as a great organizer. Take time to look at all you’ve learned while Neptune was in you solar 8th house--very likely you had intense, penetrating experiences about the mysteries of life. Sex, death and transformation are the deep matters of the 8th house. Neptune may have dissolved some rules and old outworn beliefs. Notice them, and don’t take them with you into the Aquarian Age.

Leo (July 22-August 22)
Neptune’s been in your 7th solar house of relationships for the past 14 years. He was offering a deeper compassion and the development of cooperation and sharing through partnerships. Neptune would have framed the art of relationship in spiritual terms. It’s easy to think about it with the Gemini Moon fueling your mental energy today. It’s a good time to tell someone how you feel. You can get in touch with your emotions, and you’ll be logical in the way you express them.

Virgo (August 23-September 22)
There’s an easy energy from the Sun and Moon today, making it possible to relax into your feelings without loosing your logical mind. Neptune’s departure from Aquarius closes in your 6th solar house of work and service. Although nebulous Neptune fogs up the ground layer, he’s actually wanting you to raise your goals above the battleground of duties and obligations at work and bring the world a higher form of service. Neptune would have conspired with your perfectionism to offer you a vision of a perfect world (which you always knew was there). How has your capacity to serve been deepened?

Libra (September 23-October 22)
What an energetic blessing the Gemini Moon is to your peace of mind! Today you have the balanced use of both your reasoning and your feeling self, so write, call, talk and talk some more. You can express yourself fully. The end of visionary Neptune’s 14-year stay in your 5th house of creativity, romance and children is today. You’ve taken some risks and gambles, often in spite of the fog or pink clouds that blurred your sight. Was he teaching you to rely more on your intuition? On “knowing” what you cannot see?

Scorpio (October 23-November 21)
A lovely vitality goes with today’s blessing from a harmonic Sun and Moon. You’ll benefit most from this easy peaceful feeling if you open up and talk about your self. When nebulous Neptune leaves Aquarius today, he starts a 13 journey through Pisces, your beautifully compatible sign. Your intuition is about to go to light speed! First, review the past 14 years that Neptune has been in your 4th solar house of home and family. This is the taproot house, the place of inner integration of personality, finding your true center. You’ve probably struggled with sensitive family issues and a tenacious nurturing of those you love. But Neptune would have blurred your boundaries, making it hard to know where to draw the line. Can you draw a line?

Sagittarius (November 22-December 20)
Logic and your gut feelings have a direct line of communication between them today. Very rare opportunity to find a place of balance, and be at ease with yourself. As the deep sea god, Neptune, finishes a 14-year stay in your 3rd solar house of communications, it’s a good time to look through the lens of your bright, curious mind and see where your search for knowledge has taken you. Neptune would have dissolved boundaries of “reality” to promote intuitive knowing. This can have the difficult effect of allowing the unconscious (childhood environment) to blur your conscious mind. Neptune doesn’t let you see this, as he wants you to intuit and experience it.

Capricorn (December 21-January 19)
There may be more chatter going on than you’d like to hear, but the Gemini Moon is making easy connections between logic and emotions. There’s no resistance to energy flowing in the direction you want. Neptune’s ending passage through your 2nd solar house of resources marks the finish of a saga of doubt and confusion, not just about possessions, but about utilizing your birth potential--your gifts and talents. He’s loosening your grip on possessions, and turning your dreams to a spiritual path.

Aquarius (January 20-February 17)
With the Gemini Moon in such a good mood, you are at ease. You have an unusual sensitivity to emotional reactions and at the same time you can add a logical interpretation. But the big story is the ending of Neptune’s 14 year passage through your sign, and your solar 1st house of the self. This has brought a deepening, more spiritual understanding of your true self. You may have felt like a chameleon, with so many facets to your nature. Where is the line between your identification with global humanitarian concerns, and your need to express your distinctive uniqueness? Where are you taking your deepest breaths?

Pisces (February 18-March 19)
Relationships are harmonious right now because of your inner sense of peace. An easy access to your feelings does not detract from your use of logic. They work together. Tomorrow Visionary Neptune will move into Pisces, after a 14-year stay in Aquarius. Your intuitive, clairvoyant, and compassionate skills are going to a new dimension! With his passage into Pisces, Neptune is completing a full cycle of experience (167 years!). He has prepared you for rebirth by forcing a look at your unconscious, your past, through a spiritual lens. Yours is the story of Avatar. What role will you play?
