Two powerful eclipses in September open portals

The Full Blood Moon Total Eclipse on September 27th will be spectacular shade of red, painted with passion by fiery Aries under the gracefully artistic direction of the Libra Sun. Color this Moon a flaming crimson, and mark it as a night to be remembered by lovers all around the globe. Portals open during this interruption of Earth’s electromagnetic field when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, blocking the rays of the Sun and creating a fiery red ring around the Moon.

There are 3 Major September Events:

#1 September’s opening act stars Venus and Mars in the Mystery Theatre production of I Will Always Love You. These mutually empowering Leo Lovebirds have spread their amorous wings in joy, and are soaring above the turmoil of the world. In the trailing vortex of their wingtips, we are lifted up. We transcend the barriers to the awareness of Love’s presence.

Every relationship or creative enterprise you undertake now will be characterized by passionate emotional involvement. Nothing halfway. August 9th to September 24th, Venus and Mars are inseparable yet, knowing they are equally powerful, they demand nothing of each other.

#2 There’s a fateful fortnight between cosmic portals opened by two powerful eclipses that bring us compelling opportunities to make decisive shifts in our consciousness as the Earth’s magnetic field is interrupted by:

  • A Partial Solar Eclipse, shadowy New Moon in Virgo on the 12th makes it possible to shift your gears from ignoble self-sacrifice to joyous self-fulfillment.
  • A Total Lunar Eclipse, Super Full Blood Moon in Aries, on the 27th is a call to true partnership.

The Solar Eclipse on the 12th (11:41 p.m. PDT), when the Virgo Moon conjuncts the Virgo Sun, acts as the seeding point for the next six months. “Physician Heal Thyself” is Virgo’s challenge, sort of like putting on your own oxygen mask first. Virgo’s hardworking mandate to be of service to others can makes great healers--or martyrs. Virgo is plagued by the drive for perfection, making it difficult to know when to quit.

The Lunar Eclipse on the 27th (7:50 p.m. PDT), is a Full Moon when the Aries Moon opposes the Libra Sun. It is a time of illumination for relationships. The Sun, Earth and Moon are perfectly aligned, in syzygy, with the Earth in the middle. The light shines on spiritual partnerships that are mutually empowering. That requires putting a torch to long-suffering martyrdom, to well-meaning efforts to help someone who hasn’t asked for it. Now is the time to expunge any remnants of victim mentality.

Tensions arise during the two weeks between eclipses (12th- 27th), a time of crisis and turning points. Will we create a tipping point in our collective consciousness through a sudden mass realization?

#3 The Age of Inconvenient Truth begins September 17th when a stern but soggy Saturn climbs out of Scorpio’s dark waters and onto the high-minded towers of Sagittarius, the straight shooting truthsayer (9/17/15 to 12/8/17). Leak, snitch, squeal, babble or blurt it out. That’s the inconvenient truth Sagittarius style.

Have you wondered why the killing of Cecil the lion, who lived “protected” in an African National Park, created such a universal outcry? It’s interesting that one person charged is scheduled to return to court September 18th, the very first day of Saturn’s shift into tell-it-like-it-is Sagittarius. Will someone tell the truth?

Saturn in Scorpio tempted us to hide our light, to hit delete or to throw our manuscript in the trash. We have faced disheartening frustrations, have felt the drive for success become burdensome as we accepted responsibilities that carried a deep and serious emotional intensity. Secrets and deceptions have sorely tempted us to harbor deep resentments.

Luckily, Saturn in Sagittarius has no interest in revenge! And he won’t pause or give a second thought to the embarrassment caused by publicly exposing a lie.

Messenger Mercury is in an unusually long 66 days in Libra (8/28-11/1) due to his retrograde U-turn beginning Thursday morning September 17th. He will retrace his steps back to August 27th, an illumination point that calls you to take an uncompromising stand for your truth.

The Force of lifting the veil is with you.
Here’s your horoscope for the month of September, 2015:

ARIES  ☀  (March 21-April 19)
Shall we tell the truth about this whole Wizard of Oz thing? Cute as the Disney character is, he’s manipulating and deceiving the whole town! People put their faith in him as an oracle of wisdom, but he was a liar. Beginning September 17th, when Serious Saturn moves into fiery Sagittarius, you will likely be the first to speak up about “truths” that have been hidden behind fairy tales for a very long time. You’re like the naively precocious child in The Emperor’s New Clothes, too young to understand pretense (Aries is the perpetual teenager of the zodiac--forever young!), too innocent to see a reason to lie. You just blurt it out, “the Emperor isn't wearing any clothes!” For you Aries, the first eclipse on the 12th in Virgo may find you doing a lot of hard work. But pay attention to the fortnight in between eclipses, when Messenger Mercury will be actively stirring up your deepest childhood conditioning so that you can see the unconscious (?) beliefs that inform your behavior in relationships. Great time to do some straight talking with a friend. The tipping point for you comes with the total Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Aries which rises on the evening of  September 27th. This is all about true partnerships! The Aries Moon loves to fall in love, passionately, and the Libra Sun can’t find peace of mind without being in a relationship. This is in addition to Venus rising with the Libra Sun beginning September 23rd, the Fall Equinox--the balance of darkness and light, of his needs-her needs.

“Love created me like Itself. That is why I am the light of the world.” A Course In MIracles

TAURUS ☀  (April 20-May 20)
You, dear Taurus, love Lovebirds almost as much as Libra. And September begins with having them in your 4th house of home and family. The goddess of love shifted into forward gear on the 6th, adding wealth and luxury to your home. Now that Jupiter, the Santa Claus in the sky, is in your 5th house of romance and creativity, you can expect this to be one of the most abundantly loving years in a long while. The powerful Eclipse on the 12th is also in your 5th house! This double whammy challenges you to eliminate self-sacrifice in your relationships with your children and with your romantic partners. You now have the opportunity for a healed relationship, meaning it is mutual empowering, during the fortnight between eclipses, the 12th to the 27th. The second eclipse in Aries on the 27th occurs in your 12th house of hopes dreams and visions. The universe is offering you the chance to reboot your dreams--especially the ones you’ve given up on while Saturn was in Scorpio. These can be resurrected with hope and new optimism for your future. At the time of the Fall Equinox on September 23rd, look for balance of give and take in all your partnerships. Saturn in Sagittarius for the next two and a half years will restructure your house of corporate finance and inheritances. Truths will emerge from random memories that seem to pop up from nowhere. September is a time to start a dream journal, for this is the way answers will come to you.

“Letting go and making friends with change is joy, liberation.” Ram Dass; Be Love Now

GEMINI (May 21-June 21)
Mythology’s favorite lovers, Venus and Mars, are in an extended stay in your compatible fire sign, Leo. September 1st was the second of their three rendezvous, and November 2nd will be their third and last. Because Warrior Mars adds aggressive drive to Venus’ desire for loving relationships, you won’t be content with a pink cloud dream of love. You’ll want a loyal commitment. Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, is tripling the time he’s spending in Libra, 66 days (8/27-11/1). Your intellect is extremely sharp, your ability to get your point across is excellent during this time. Mercury goes retrograde for three weeks beginning Thursday morning September 17th, just before Saturn changes signs. Look back to August 27th-28th for something that was illuminated for you, but perhaps you overlooked it. All of your very bright ideas will finally find an easy public outlet when Saturn moves into Sagittarius on September 17th. You will feel this as a great awakening of your truth, and an urgent desire to speak it. The first eclipse on September 12th falls in your 4th house of home and family. Any way in which you have been sacrificing your own needs for those of your family will become obviously uncomfortable. During the fortnight until the second eclipse on September 27th, friends and groups that you belong to will suddenly show up with exactly the right stuff that you need to reboot romance, creativity, and the power of being in service to mankind. It just so happens that the Fall Equinox on September 23rd hits this same issue, bringing you a fabulous opportunity to balance your needs vs. the needs of others. View it as “Enlightened Selfishness” (one of my favorite ideas) and use that as your compass. This is the same thing as putting on your own oxygen mask first. The enormous shift in consciousness that you are called to make right now needs the energy that can only be found by taking better care of yourself.

"If you're lucky, something comes along that ruptures any artificial sense of well-being, which is preventing you from really living. You have a moment of blistering realization...” -Stephen Jenkinson

CANCER     (June 22-July 22)
Your third house of ideas and communications is the place where the solar eclipse on the 12th will occur. What does this mean for your ideas and the way you express them? It means you must break through any fears you have about telling the truth, especially eliminating the lies you tell yourself about yourself. In the two weeks between eclipses (12th- 27th) issues related to your home and family will want to come into balance with your career ambitions. This will likely require breaking old childhood patterns related to fairness and inequality. Your opinion must count. You cannot wait for someone else to open the door in your career. The second eclipse in Aries on September 27th occurs in your 10th house of career. Expect major shifts in direction. You need to reboot your ambitions and your career goals. You have powerful, well directed energy coming into  your work when Saturn moves into Sagittarius on the 17th. This is an emphasis for the next two and a half years. This double whammy to your house of work and your house of career, sets a new course toward success. You will be sought after for your uncanny ability to live the truth, which demonstrates your higher Self, who you truly are.

“When we talk about God, we’re like a school of fish discussing the possible existence of the sea!” -Rumi

LEO ☀  (July 23-August 22)
You may have felt like a rug was pulled out from under you on August 11th when Jupiter left Leo and begin a one-year trip through Virgo. What’s actually happening is that the pot of gold Jupiter gave you is planted on Virgo’s solid ground. Not as glamorous, not spontaneous or very creative, but Virgo’s practicality and CEO genius, is just what you need. The coming year is a time in which you will harvest the gold from your one year with Jupiter in your sign. On Tuesday, September 8th, Warrior Mars harmonized with lightning bolt Uranus to bring you a sudden burst of unexpected good fortune. Pay attention. You continue to have the well wishes and sweet winds in your sails from the goddess of love and her rather aggressive partner, Warrior Mars--both still in Leo until September 24th. Traveling side by side in your sign brings you loving and prosperous partnerships. You felt this begin in full force on September 6th. There will be a pentacle of easy partnerships as Venus and Mars continue to make conjunctions, the next one coming November 2nd. Also, the powerful eclipse on September 27th falls in your house of the higher mind and foreign travel. This energy supports you in bringing your ideas out into the world and disseminating them broadly, especially in foreign lands. Let your big Lionhearted goodness show in all your affairs. Look for the synchronicity in the recent news story of Cecil the lion (see intro)--a truth that went viral just when Jupiter was finishing his stay in Leo. Using the law to hide an injustice is less tolerable, as you take a stand for transparency. Don’t worry, the world is catching up.

“When you realize that guilt is solely and invention of your means that nothing outside yourself can hurt you, or disturb your peace, or upset you in any way. This idea places you in charge of the universe, where you belong.” A Course In MIracles

VIRGO ☀  (August 23-September 22)
Rarely has your birthday month had a more wonderfully powerful aspect than it does this year. Jovial Jupiter settled into a year long sojourn in Virgo on August 11th, expanding your horizons by bolstering your confidence and optimism. Your health is robust. This Kris Kringle of the Zodiac will bring you oodles of opportunities to work and be of service to our world, but he’s all about the forests and Virgo energy deals with one tree at a time. This is where the lessons in discernment get uncharacteristically juicy. A keenness of perception, a penetrating mindfulness that easily converts into precognition, is yours for the taking! The first eclipse on September 12th is in Virgo, calls you to reboot your belief in your own magnificence. This is part of a major shift in your self-identity and calls you to a different form of self expression. Get honest about whether or not you have been caught up in the role of martyr. The obsession with getting it right-by-the-rule is exhausting, because the strain of constant judgement is the stuff ulcers are made of--Virgo’s vulnerability. September is the time for the healer that you are to be reborn, and revitalized. The second eclipse on September 27th is a finishing up of a metamorphosis for you. The famous lovers of mythology, Venus and Mars, are traveling side by side in your 12th house of hopes and dreams. Love speaks to you from the collective consciousness of mankind. Think of Mother Teresa, one of the great servants of mankind, who ministered to the impossibly long lines of the poor and sick. Yet, at the end of the day, her work always unfinished, she closed the door and retired to her own sanctuary. You are learning this lesson--that your helpful service, however limited it may seem, is absolutely perfect. And so are you!

I have not been fair to myself, for I have asked sacrifice of myself, a deep injustice to me. A Course In Miracles

LIBRA ☀  (September 23-October 22)
Your great need for partnership is highlighted as you move toward the grand finale of the second Eclipse on September 27th. This call to reboot, to make a quantum leap in your consciousness, arises in your 7th house of relationships. You can look for a new way to make a “commitment” with your partner. Throw out the old rules. The first eclipse on September 12th asks you to prepare by searching for places in your relationships where you have hidden your true needs. Where you have not been honest for fear of upsetting the apple cart. Patricia Sun once said, “If you tell the truth you may have fewer men in you life, but you won’t have any men who would abuse you.” Messenger Mercury triples the time he’s spending in Libra, 66 days (8/27-11/1). Your intellect is in high gear, your pings and inbox are loaded. Mercury will U-turn beginning Thursday morning September 17th, reviewing where you needed to take a definite stand--or did you back off in fear of disapproval? Letting it look like things are okay when they’re not does not buy you peace in the long run. What is hidden is about to take center stage spotlight as Saturn moves into Sagittarius on September 17th. Please go ahead and jump the gun. Tell the truth to yourself, then your partner, about what you need. Trust that your partner can handle it. On September 23rd, when the Sun moves into your sign on the Fall Equinox, you begin a very powerful birthday month. A great time for you to make choices--between love and fear, between sacrifice and self-fulfillment. Venus and Mars are traveling side by side In your 11th house of friendships. Look for good advice from friends who have your best interests at heart. Venus and Mars will make their third conjunction on November 2nd, in Virgo. Between now and then, you can solidify and make commitments that are grounded and realistic. By December you may be rewriting the book on Venus and Mars!

“Perhaps you do not think you can let all your grievances go. That, however, is simply a matter of motivation.” A Course In MIracles

SCORPIO ☀   (October 23-November 21)
Buy some fireworks and celebrate! Stern and way too Serious Saturn is leaving Scorpio on September 17th. Right now you are finishing up a two and a half year journey during which you had many obstacles and seeming restrictions that shook the foundation and and tested the strength of the structure of your life. The scaffolding is coming down, and soon you’ll see the strong skyscraper that you have been building underneath the chaos. The first eclipse in Virgo on September 12th is a powerful finale for you to harvest the gold from the changes that have occurred. Invite friends to help you see this. Saturn will move into Sagittarius next, and in your 2nd house of money and resources for the next two years. No frills, but no big fluctuations. Are you allocating your resources to their best advantage? The famous lovers, Venus and Mars, are traveling side by side in the your house of career and ambitions in the outer world. This sweetens your partnerships with a wealth of love and art, and supports business deals that are open-hearted and caring for all concerned. The second eclipse on September 27th offers you a chance to reboot in the areas of work, health and healing. Expect major shifts in consciousness regarding balance of the masculine and feminine energies necessary for equality in partnerships. Pluto is still in a powerful position to allow you a deeper dive into your belief system, particularly after Mental Mercury goes retrograde on the 17th--a red letter day for you.

I would wake to my true Self by laying all my grievances aside, completely at peace with everyone and everything, safe in a world that loves me. A Course In Miracles

SAGITTARIUS ☀   (November 22-December 21)
You are about to experience a major change in the structure of your life when Saturn leaves Scorpio and moves into Sagittarius on September 17th. For the next two and a half years Serious Saturn will help you restructure many things about the way you see yourself and the way you express yourself in the world. With Saturn in your 1st solar house of self-confidence, you are going to reinvent yourself. Your Sagittarius energy is always the zodiac’s truth teller, and usually you don't concern yourself with how it’s received. However, now it’s in the hands of Saturn who will insist on order--but the trick for you will be to avoid brooding (that’s how Saturn becomes a wet and depressing blanket). This is a great time to publish a book. September is a pivotal month, beginning with the first Eclipse on the 12th in your house of career. Something about your ambitions is in for a major shift. if you are in a career that requires you to sacrifice the needs of your home and family in order to succeed, you will no longer tolerate that kind of imbalance. The second eclipse in fiery Aries on September 27th will light up your house of romance and creativity, showing you where your loyalties truly belong. Reboot your trust in one another. Be the happiness that you want to give others. Then love needs no encouragement to extend itself to all your relationships.

The Voice of truth replaces everything that the ego tells you about yourself with this simple truth--you are the child of Love Itself. A Course In MIracles

CAPRICORN   ☀  (December 22-January 19)
It took over a year to get to you, but now you're in for a year of easy good fortune. Generous Jupiter left Leo on August 11th, and moved into Virgo, which is your go-to earth sign for practical solutions. Particularly when it comes to working (versus career), health, and healing. For the next year, you will feel much more optimistic, and your self confidence will get a big boost. You can expect to see a signpost of what's to come when we have the first Eclipse on September 12th in Virgo. That puts the Sun, the Moon, and Jupiter together in Virgo in your house of the higher mind, foreign travel, and publishing. Even if your travel is inner, inside your own ideas, you will feel a new sense of empowerment and a desire to teach what you’ve learned. As the matrix of energy dissolves at the time of September’s two eclipses, it's a major opportunity to shift gears and renegotiate both contracts and relationships. The second Eclipse on the 27th will affect your home and family, an area where you’re having both endings and beginnings. How you end things is as important as how you begin them. When Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, moves into Sagittarius on September 17th, you begin a two and a half year period of dumping the junk. Things that you have been holding on to, but no longer need, will leave your life. These are not losses, rather you are clearing the decks for a new dimension of consciousness. You’re in position to take a quantum leap in uncovering lies that have been told to you, particularly in childhood, as well as lies you have been telling yourself. Perfect for your wonderful Capricorn humor is the movie Liar Liar with Jim Carrey. Whether exposed, divulged, broadcasted or admitted, love finds a way to tell or hear the truth that frees you.

“There are many routes up the mountain, but they all end at the peak.” Ram Dass; Be Love Now

AQUARIUS   ☀   (January 20-February 18)
You are so lucky! The famous mythological lovers, Venus and Mars, are traveling together through your seventh house of relationships--their favorite home. This couple had their second of three conjunctions at the beginning of September, and will have the third one November 2nd. This is a prolonged period that began last February 21st, that brings you a new love or reinvents and revitalizes one that is already existing. The first eclipse on the 12th will be in your 8th house of rebirth, inheritance, and corporate money. Use this to reboot your concepts of giving and receiving so that you pay yourself first. In other words, if you are sacrificing what you need in order to give to another, it will not work out well. The second Eclipse on September 27th will affect your communications. You may be put in the role of teacher so that you can offer a foundation of knowledge upon which a new way of being in the world can be built. This gets underlined beginning September 17th when serious Saturn moves into Sagittarius for the next two and a half years. One of your favorite topics, equality in relationships, gets the microphone for a (hopefully) lighthearted episode of Truth or Consequences. Telling the truth, building friendships as equals, you teach two people how to make their journey together as a spiritual partners.

“Try to keep your soul young and quivering right up to old age, and to imagine right up to the brink of death that life is only beginning.” -George Sand

PISCES  (February 19-March 20)
Lately your work has had an edge of light-hearted fun and happiness. The zodiac’s favorite lovers, Venus and Mars, have been traveling through your sixth house of work (not career) and health. They had a conjunction at the beginning of September in Leo, and there’s another one coming on November 2nd--this time in practical Virgo. If you allow it, it will infect your relationships with loyalty, spontaneous romance and playfulness. Think of yourself as a budding master of Lila, the creative play of the divine. The second eclipse on September 27th, will affect your second house of money and resources. Here you are called to a partnership that needs better equality in terms of sharing your resources. if you consult someone you trust about your finances, it will work out better than doing it alone. When serious Saturn leave Scorpio on September 17th, you’ve completed a two and a half year period of remodeling your philosophy of life. You know just what you want. Now, as Saturn goes into Sagittarius and travels through your house of career, success is assured. It may mean you’ll take on more responsibilities, but it will be as result of a promotion or obtaining a leadership role of some kind. This can be a peak time in your life for material gain and advancement in your career. Wednesday, September 16th, is lucid dreaming day! The expansive optimism of Jupiter draws out Neptune’s visions. Pay attention to your hopes and dreams--especially the ones you may have buried. Messenger Mercury is spending an inordinately long time (8/27-11/1) in your house of transformation and rebirth. Your mind has been preoccupied with deep issues that won’t let you rest until you know the bottom line truth. Your solution is always a spiritual solution. Take a meditative trip into the collective consciousness, where you are truly at home, and find your faith in the existence of angels. They will happily show you that the darkest clouds are without substance, without the power to stop a button’s fall.
