The speed of Aries, the stillness of Pisces

If you were lying on a beach in Mexico, relaxed and lazy, you’d still be traveling 1,040 mph as the Earth spins on it axis. And, at the same time, you’d be whirling through space at 66,600 mph as you orbit the Sun. At that speed you could go from San Francisco to Washington DC in 3 minutes. And many of us still don’t think we’re moving fast enough.

We don’t feel the speed, but we can see it in the way we bulge in the middle. In the currents of the Gulf stream. In the underlying sense that there is more to our existence than meets the eye. That some unacknowledged Force holds this whole crazy mess together.

ARIES  ☀  (March 21-April 19)

Do you daydream about carrying the Olympic torch, leading the race? You should. Your inner champion is all fired up. This week begins with the Moon (intuition), Venus (heart), Mars (action) and Uranus (rebellion) all in Aries! Expect surprises in your relationships that wake you up to a love you didn’t know you had. Plan to buy your lottery ticket because you’re headed for a winning streak, particularly around March 3rd, 4th and 11th. By the time you get to your birthday month this year, you’ll realize it’s the most fortunate in a long time and your whole life is changing--a metamorphosis. TAURUS ☀  (April 20-May 20)

Sunday is finally a day of rest for you as the Taurus Moon comforts your body with blessed relief from doing. Like the soft quiet of a snowfall, you can be still. You’re heading toward a massive change of heart that releases your repressed strengths and propels you to a quantum leap in consciousness. You dear Taurus get a warm-up to the 7th and final Revolutionary Transformation culminating around March 16th, just on the eve of a new spring. On March 5th there’s going to be a powerful Virgo Full Moon, that prepares the ground for you green thumb to be really useful. How? Virgo is the list-maker, asking you to document and add up the things you’ve done well. Make a list of your own good deeds, a minimum of #20. Also on Tuesday, February 24th, you have a day of sweet connections with those you love, and it has a practical side. Venus is not just about love, she’s also about wealth--so that she can enjoy all the good things of life. She’s began spicing up your friendships on the 20th, and now she’s ready to get serious about your bank account (or doing taxes to get a refund). The goddess of love inside you doesn’t always like to hang out with Serious Saturn, but this week she sees that his practical counsel will take your creative ideas into the marketplace where you will be successful. CANCER    ☀  (June 22-July 22)

Friday and Saturday, February 27th and 28th, are your best days this week. You have a sense that all is well. Emotional heat is rising for you since last Friday the 20th, and although you’re not one for instant gratification, there’s a restlessness for Cancers right now. The good news is it’s creating activity and opportunity in your 10th house of career, and you have to do is keep up. LEO ☀  (July 23-August 22)

You aren’t usually competitive, since the power to rule is simply yours by birthright, but from now until March 16th you’ve declared yourself in the race. Aries drive mixes with your natural enthusiasm to push you to take the initiative and lead. And, you’re in no mood to tolerate people who oppose you. Unlike the rapidly moving forest fires of Aries, Leo is fixed fire--you have the staying power of an eternal flame. SAGITTARIUS ☀   (November 22-December 21)

These are not home fires that are burning, they’re torches you can carry into the competitive world of business.
