Auspicious Aquarius SuperMoon & Chinese New Year

Perk up your ears and try a Spock Mind-Meld under the SuperMoon in Aquarius this Wednesday. “My mind to your mind, my thoughts to your thoughts” is how the incantation goes. The recognition that we are all one mind is reaching a tipping point in Aquarius, the sign of great humanitarians who care about the plight of all people.

“Failure to thrive” is a description of infants who languish, who don’t grow or develop, who eventually may die because they have been deprived of loving touch. You can be well fed, have a roof over your heads, a measure of safety, and still wither away. Likewise, you can live under a leaky roof, with little food, rarely safe, and still thrive if you are loved.

All you need is love? Spock used to say “the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one.” This could only become a conflict if the one or the few have different needs than the many. What if we all have the same need? Love. Plenty for everyone because the more you give love, the more you receive.

Now you have a renewed sense of purpose, more profound, urgently felt. Revolutionary changes have been occurring since Uranus started issuing GET OUT OF JAIL FREE cards March 11th, 2011. You’re moving out of limiting boxes. The Chinese New Year begins with the second New Moon after the winter solstice, which is this week’s Super New Moon in Aquarius,* Wednesday, February 18th. This year of the Blue Sheep brings the qualities of boldness, decisiveness, focus and creativity.

Two more tipping points this week: The Sun enters Pisces this Wednesday at 3:49 PM, PST, only two minutes after the New Moon, a month of clairvoyance and compassion. Then Mars, Venus, and the Moon will line up together in Aries on February 20th.** The law of attraction is in full force.

Your 10th house of career is activated by the Super New Moon in Aquarius this Wednesday. From Monday afternoon until Wednesday at 3:47 PM, PST, your ambitions shift and you make a new start. You’ll add qualities of a broader audience, peaceful solutions to old problems, and a flexibility that will help you out of a rut. As Warrior Mars and Venus move into your watery 12th house, their fiery creativity will have trouble finding expression. For the next three weeks you’ll take a helping role in your relationships, but be careful that the selfless love your feel doesn’t lead you to bend over backwards, martyr-style. The cobwebs of your sleepy mind have been swept away, so you’re mentally very alert. You successfully go after your goals by working with a team, because you can see that your individual interests don’t conflict with the group. The Super New Moon in Aquarius this Wednesday will add a higher dimension of understanding to ideas you’ve been tossing around. The Sun enters Pisces this Wednesday, 2 minutes after the New Moon, and will fill your 10th house of career with loads of Spock-like Mind Melds for the next four weeks. You’ll just have a hunch about what to do, and it’ll be right on. But you won’t feel very assertive, particularly when it comes to your own personal interests.
