Death and resurrection is Pluto's theme

We’re now on approach for one of the most significant astrological events of this year, and several years to come. June 24, 2012, is the pinnacle of the first of seven squares between transformational Pluto in Capricorn and revolutionary Uranus in Aries, lasting through 2015.

This creates an uncomfortable tension that forces a primal, revolutionary transformation, like the Phoenix dying to the old to be born anew, arising on wings of faith. Like the Phoenix, we are choosing our destiny.

When squares occur in fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) it's like a flashpoint. In earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) it’s like the sudden release of tectonic tension, creating seismic waves.

Therefore, the tense square we’re feeling now between Pluto in earthy Capricorn, and Uranus in fiery Aries, is like the flashpoint for tectonic tension. We are changing our world, at depth.
The Force of resurrection is with you.
Here’s your forecast for the first week in April...

Aries (March 20-April 19)
Harmony from the Sunday morning Moon in your fiery friend Leo, starts your week on just the right note of growing awareness. The fog burns off your thinking and communicating when Messenger Mercury ends his three weeks in retreat on Wednesday. The right answers just come. Tuesday the goddess of love begins an extraordinarily long stay with your compatible neighbor, Gemini. Being in love was never so easy! And for Aries who are lucky enough to have their birthday this week, the Libra Full Moon on Friday adds grace, love, and a preference for peace. Happy, happy birthday.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Jupiter in your sign continues to urge you to travel and expand your horizons. This is made easier for you when Messenger Mercury ends a three week sleep and wakes up in Pisces on Wednesday. Your options become clear and your decisions easier. Activity escalates on the way to Friday’s Full Moon in Libra, which could stir up some relationship “issues” at work. You’d be better off taking a vacation! The week ends on a note of grace, gratitude and the transformation of life through death and rebirth.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)
On Tuesday at 8:18 AM, PDT, Venus begins and extended stay (until August 7th) in your sign, filling your life with love and beauty in assorted flavors. Just as you’re social butterfly emerges, the all-about-relationships Libra Full Moon occurs in your house of romance on Friday at around noon. The fog lifts and bloopers are over in your work communications on Wednesday. It’s a time of resurrection of your true self. Bright, witty, free, and an inspiring friend.

Cancer (June 21-July 21)
You’re going to be very tempted to retreat into your shell when the pace picks up this week on the way to the Full Moon in Libra on Friday at 12:19 PM, PDT. The Leo Moon on Sunday morning sets the bar high for activity, but also enthusiasm about life. Try to focus on the latter. That foggy feeling in your brain gets little help when the Moon moves into your compatible sign, Virgo, on Tuesday morning. Too many daydreams from the deep waters of Neptune. But at noon on Wednesday this begins to shift when Messenger Mercury finally comes out of his underwater cave in Pisces and smells the clear spring air. Communications are back on track, just in time to practice forgiveness, make a gratitude list, and tell several someones that you love them.

Leo (July 22-August 22)
You get a zesty start to this celebratory week when the Moon rolls into Leo in the wee hours of Sunday morning and almost immediately fuels up with lightning strikes. Tuesday the goddess of love moves into curious Gemini, spicing up your creativity and love life for the next four months. Your excitement about life grows throughout the week, on your way to the Friday Full Moon in fair-handed Libra at 12:19 PM, PDT. It’s a culminating harvest of loving relationships that beautifully ushers in Passover and Easter as time for gratitude and resurrection of hope.

Virgo (August 23-September 22)
The first week of springtime April is loaded with shifts and turns in your relationships and a bit of a roller coaster ride in your changing moods. A tense start yields to a sense of well-being when the Moon walks into Virgo 6:43 AM, PDT, Tuesday. But don’t expect the easy precision you’re used to, because a fog still clouds your thinking until Wednesday, when Mental Mercury wakes from his three week sleep. Decisions and communications are restored, which will help you manage the pull to balance the peace-at-any-price Libra Full Moon at noon on Friday. Peace does actually come with the Scorpio Moon on Saturday. Perfect for this time of the resurrection of hope.

Libra (September 23-October 22)
Your week is on an escalating path of creative self-expression into Friday’s Full Moon in Libra at 12:19 PM, PDT. Your focus is on the balance, or lack thereof, of give and take in relationships. Today’s Leo Moon triggers a show of affection in your 11th house of friendships. Luckily your thoughts begin to clear on Wednesday when Mercury comes out of his cave after over 3 weeks of miscommunications and misunderstandings. You have an electric shine on your relationships--you’ll surprise yourself with what you see.

Scorpio (October 23-November 21)
You continue to have “lucky” opportunities, but in spite of the expansion of your horizons you may be tempted to feel discouraged. Life is making a lot of daily demands, especially in your relationships, that will reach a climax on this Friday’s Full Moon in fair-minded Libra. You’ll notice a lifting of the veil as mental clarity and easier communications are restored Wednesday when Messenger Mercury wakes up from a three week coma. You can act decisively on creative ideas that have eluded definition until now. This week ends with celebrated symbols of blessings, gratitude and resurrection, all of which fall into place for you under Saturday’s Scorpio Moon.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 20)
Firecrackers start your week on a big-hearted note, aimed toward waking you up to more loving relationships on the way to the Libra Full Moon on Friday. Fairness and a graceful even-handed calm can transform the way you relate to others. Although the tempo remains fast, you’ll see things more clearly beginning Wednesday when the fog lifts from your reasoning mind. Venus makes a big move to airy Gemini on Tuesday, fanning your flames of romance and creativity until August 7th. This week is a harvest time for you to know where you stand with significant others in your life, and to usher in a time of egalitarian friendship.

Capricorn (December 21-January 19)
There’s a lot brewing on the relationship front as you try to make sense of culminating “issues” on the way to the Libra Full Moon on Friday at 12:19 PM, PDT. You can expect clarity and a sense of moving forward again on Wednesday when the communications planet wakes from his sleep in Pisces. Common sense in love may still elude you as Venus moves into spicey, don’t-fence-me-in Gemini on Tuesday. Look for reasons to forgive, everyone, and hope of love without judgement to be resurrected.

Aquarius (January 20-February 17)
Your relationships get an affectionate boost as the week begins with lion-hearted feelings. You will feel even more social and friendly to everyone when the goddess of love trips the light fantastic into Gemini, your favorite intellectual twin, on Tuesday morning at 8:18 AM, PDT. The tempo escalates daily, challenging you to keep your balance on a roller coaster ride to Friday’s Full Moon in fair-minded Libra. The fuzzy communications that have stressed you for three weeks begin to clear up Wednesday. The ideas that were forming in your internal dialogue bear fruit and your resources grow.

Pisces (February 18-March 19)
Put on your dancing shoes to start your week under the dramatic Leo Moon. On Tuesday the usually precise Moon in Virgo has you in a fuzzy, foggy mood, just so you’ll appreciate the clarity that’s on it’s way. Your tongue unties itself on Wednesday around noon when the god of communications emerges from his cave. Mercury is still swimming in your sign, so ideas that have been brewing for over three weeks will find poetic expression. Relationships are your focus throughout the week, building to a busy he-said she-said Libra Full Moon on Friday at 12:19 PM, PDT. Relief and relaxation come with the Scorpio Moon on Saturday at 8:18 AM, underscoring your need for forgiveness and resurrection.
