Tip your hat to the New Revolution

Aung San Suu Kyi stepped to the podium as a perfect example of the New Revolution occurring now, courtesy of Transformational Pluto squaring-off with Break-free Uranus.  This heroine of Burma was held in Pluto’s underworld grip, then freed from her chains* by revolutionary Uranus.  She emerges from her private journey through hell holding the Nobel Prize, still teaching peace when she said, ”it opened up a door in my heart.”

Look for the similarities in your own journey as we come to the June 24th gateway, they are most definitely there.  If you allowed your trip through Pluto’s fire to transform you, you rise up with a heart more open to claim your own prize.

The crescendo includes a New Moon in late Gemini, both a beginning and a conclusion, on Tuesday at 8:02 AM, PDT, and the Summer Solstice marking the shortest night on Wednesday at 4:09 PM, when the Sun enters Cancer.

So start your week whispering sweet somethings in the ear of one you love, because while you were sleeping the Moon laid down with our celestial Santa Claus, Jupiter.  Although both are newly caught up in the curious swirl of Gemini’s quick-witted air, they breathe confidence and kindness into the winds saying, “everything’s gonna be alright.”

The Force of a new day is with you.
Happy Father’s Day, June 17, 2012.  Here’s your weekly horoscope:

Aries ♈ (March 20-April 19)
Brush Fires are eliminating old growth, enriching the creative ground you stand on.  Uranus, the god of lightning quick changes, in your sign is the only fire in the zodiac now but you’re intellectually fueled with quick-wit and curiosity on Tuesday’s New Moon. Expect change and transformation in your ambitions and the way in which your career aligns with your true Self.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You may be the only one at your office with a foot on the ground this week!  There’s a cross roads approaching with a pull between trying to hold onto old ways of doing things versus freeing yourself from restrictions that have held you back.  Use Tuesday’s New Moon to grab a new idea about your life’s direction and your resources--even if it seems to come out of thin air.  After the Summer Solstice Wednesday, the Cancer Sun will help you put practical feet to your inspirations.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)
What can I say?  You’re so locked and loaded this week you may never touch down!  Sun’s shine, Venus’ love, lunar intuition, topped off with Generous Jupiter--all in Gemini for Tuesday’s New Moon.  If you ever wanted to be “beamed up” this is it!  Keep notes of your inspirational ideas and try to pace yourself.  Plus, you’re getting organizational genius thrown in from Saturn.  A moment of truth happens on Wednesday’s Solstice.

Cancer (June 21-July 21)
It’s best to tie down your goals least they get blown about in the ivory tower of Gemini’s intellectual searching!  But just two hours after Tuesday’s New Moon, she returns to her favorite home, Cancer, and you have your deepest needs met.  And it just gets better at 4:09 PM, PDT, Wednesday when the Sun shines its light in Cancer.  This annual event marks the Sun’s pinnacle, the first day of summer, and the longest day (5:48 AM to 8:45 PM).  It’s a time of well-being for you.  If your birthday falls this week, it’s an auspicious new era in your life, especially your career.  You may take a leadership role as a caregiver or spiritual guide for others in these changing times.

Leo (July 22-August 22)
Upbeat and packed with action, this week blows out all the stops.  Tuesday’s New Moon sparks your friendships, which may be the source of a fresh way of thinking or exciting travel.  But use erasable ink--everything changes on Wednesday.  You can trust your impulses to be creatively just right when the Moon rises in Leo Thursday evening.  Your work world is the arena for changes that can free you from  restrictions.

Virgo (August 23-September 22)
Polish off your natural common sense.  It’s going to be in high demand this week.  Use Tuesday’s New Moon to free your creativity and let it transform some restricitve childhood conditioning.  Wednesday brings you a longing for some easy at-home time to yourself, especially if you have a few lingering bad dreams.  The god of communications helps you cut through misunderstandings on Thursday, and clean up the emotional spills from the week’s hectic pace.  By healing from too much “doing,” you take your place as a healer.

Libra (September 23-October 22)
You’re in for a wild ride this week, and you probably thought you’d already done that!  Tuesday’s New Moon is a well-orchestrated symphony rearranging the belief systems that play in your head, lifting them from their roots.  A zap of unexpected notes arrives midweek, keeping your direction fluid--ready to turn on a dime.  Just what’s needed for transforming your home base and changing your partnerships--which is what you’re called to do at this first gateway to a new freedom, a new happiness.

Scorpio ♏  (October 23-November 21)
Neptune’s deep sea of dreams and wishes is your best friend this week.  Looking past the wall of words coming at you, and finding the truth of who your friends and partners really are, is the gift you can give.  Tuesday’s New Moon affects your career, adding something fresh to your ambitions and taking away the old and outworn.  You enjoy a sense of well-being when Wednesday’s Summer Solstice arrives with your compatible neighbor, Cancer, bringing you a comforting meal.  This becomes especially sweet on Saturday (8:54 PM, PDT) when magic fills the air with compassion and love.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 20)
You’re learning that the purpose of any relationship is to make you both happy.  And for you this does not mean giving up your freedoms, but finding them expand in a loving partnership.  Creativity in the way you use your resources is the challenge you face from the approaching crossroads of revolutionary transformations.  Use Tuesday’s uplifting New Moon to open fresh dialogue and weed out dead wood in your relationships.  Thursday evening begins an auspicious two days for giving birth to a new life.

Capricorn (December 21-January 19)
Some mental confusion and fight of ideas may be unsettling until you reach midweek and can see they were in your own best interests.  The Summer Solstice, 4:09 PM, PDT, Wednesday, helps you relax into an easy chair and appreciate the comforts of home.  You have a talent for putting your thoughts into action this week which softens the edges of Pluto’s push to transform your self-image and build your self-confidence.  These qualities are the prize waiting for you as you open your heart to love.

Aquarius (January 20-February 17)
This will be an intellectually heady week in which your feet barely touch the ground.  Expect to be inspired as you let your heart open to the needs of your neighbors.  Tuesday’s Gemini New Moon calls you to leave behind remnants of the past.  Wednesday is electrifying, so don’t expect your plans to go along as usual.  The Solstice turns your attention to your home and family where there is work to be done.

Pisces ♓  (February 18-March 19)
Tuesday evening you get a lovely break in action and some much needed emotional nourishment as this New Moon may have you balancing the books and cleaning out your inbox.  The shortest night at Wednesday’s Summer Solstice brings you harmony at home and a sympathetic spiritual connection to your family.  Your friends are your greatest resource for knowing what to change and what to discard as you approach the first gateway of the New Revolution occurring June 24th.  Where do you need to take a stand?
