Give a Handful of Hope

It’s the kind of hope that’s born from compassion.  The dreamy, poetic Moon in Pisces pulls up tides of forgiveness, while the Taurus Sun powers up the generosity of Jovial Jupiter.  John Lennon captured this feeling in Imagine.  

Imagine happy mothers everywhere!  Which really means their children are healthy and fed, have shoes and books, love and laughter.  And if that’s not true for you this Mother’s Day, then let’s call all angelic voices of children around the world to sing you a chorus of remembering joy--that you had that moment, precious and daring, of giving birth to a new life.

Week of May 13, 2012

Aries ♈ (March 20-April 19)
It might not have the punch of a fireball, but the optimism you see on the horizon this week is mind-expanding.  Then the Moon sprints into your sign Tuesday afternoon (2:46 PM, PDT) it inspires you to spontaneous new heights, especially when she lights up like neon in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.  Electric intuition! This week empowers you to take your role as a change-agent.  Although the pace appears to slow down by Saturday, don’t be fooled.  A major Solar Eclipse is coming on the 20th.  Stay tuned.  

Taurus ♉ (April 20-May 20)
You are ready to go after whatever you want, fueled with positive expectations.  This is a week for you to broaden your experiences.  If this Thursday is your birthday, wow. Get prepared to use the walk-away line, “thanks for sharing, but...”  It’s going to be a full day of brainiac magic.  Grab a pillow for your shoulder-to-cry-on, because people will.  By the end of the week there will be three planets plus your Sun in Taurus, so careful of those stubborn stances in old territory.  

Gemini ♊ (May 21-June 20)
Maybe they’re not flamboyant, and there’s no fireworks, but you appreciate the reliability of your friends and loved ones.  Good feelings last, with a healthy reappraisal of your relationships, when Venus stops in her Gemini tracks and retraces her steps back to April 12th.  The week brings you a powerful stimulus to your ambitions that is a precursor to the major call to action coming June 24th.  What is your mission?

Cancer ♋ (June 21-July 21)
You’re in a space of absorbing other people’s “stuff” as if it were your own.  Use your Cancer sensitivity cautiously.  Some imaginative fog can obscure your view at the beginning of this week, but you can also use it to envision your goals.  You get a call to action midweek.  Wednesday and Thursday in particular are power days for making changes that will allow you to keep up a sustained push toward your goals.  You have a lot of support by Saturday when you’ll just say all the right things and opportunities will fall at your feet!

Leo ♌ (July 22-August 22)
Your emotions may go off like fireworks on Tuesday, but it will help you change your course.  It will take some cautions placement, but midweek you’re going to dynamite your way through a big mountain, opening up space for a high speed train!  If you stay focused, you’ll blast through obstacles and open new lines of communication.  Wednesday in particular is a focal point for making reforms in your life that will gather momentum through June 24th.  Find out now what you want to change.

Virgo ♍ (August 23-September 22)
Pay no attention to self-doubt and you’ll start your week with precision timing and potent communications.  Taking on big projects will seem right to you since a down-to-earth sensibility keeps you from going overboard.  Right after midnight Wednesday some very imaginative ideas start to drift into your dreams.  They set the stage for transformation, the birth of a new you, that has a major impetus occurring now.  

Libra ♎ (September 23-October 22)
Your week starts with a lovin’ feelin’ that has a practical steadiness to it.  You see the flaws, and accept that there’s a crack in everything--so the light can get in!  Midweek adjustments will be needed, so use pencils with erasers.  A new understanding about yourself waits inside the opportunities that will come to you this Wednesday and Thursday.  It may require stretching into uncomfortable places, but it will put you on edge of change in which you will wield more power and be more personally effective in your world.  

Scorpio ♏  (October 23-November 21)
You begin this week by offering a shoulder to lean on for someone you love.  It’s natural for you with the heightened empathy you’re feeling under today’s compassionate Pisces Moon.  Toward the end of the week you may find yourself getting credit for some difficult work you do.  By Saturday there’s a powerhouse lineup of stars in earth signs that support you in making changes that allow you to heal, and to heal others.  Make your move!

Sagittarius ♐ (November 22-December 20)
If you can avoid doing anything rash, the Aries Moon on Tuesday (2:46 PM, PDT) will propel you to break out of a routine and include something different in your life.  Let it.  Just don’t change lanes on the freeway so often, and keep your focus.  Toward the end of the week lots of stability and a slower pace give you a break.  Let those busy feet touch ground.  A more contemplative time puts you in better position for next week’s Solar Eclipse (stay tuned!).

Capricorn ♑ (December 21-January 19)
Count on your Capricorn practicality to avoid those shiny baubles that look too attractive this week.  Big doses of optimism boost your large-hearted generosity toward others, so that you all can grow together.  There’s brilliant, brainy, even magical thinking on tap for you late Wednesday and into your Thursday.  By the end of the week the lineup of down-to-earth energy will help you plough through any obstacle.
